Honestly we un-affectionately call it Shower Chafe Face.
Skin Strong was born many years ago when the creators’ John & Chandi were motivated to get off the couch and sign up for their very first race. It wasn’t long before they were training for triathlons, marathons and Ironmans along with the support and involvement of their five children!
Pretty early into the adventures, these
passionate athletes became frustrated at the lack of high-performance skincare products on the market.
With drive, determination and the need to create the perfect skin protection they worked with a skin specialist to create their own… and Skin Strong was born!
This chafe protection passion then spread across the world, where the equally sports-obsessed family in the UK and Australia tested Slather, Slik and Dust over thousands of kilometres across many events including Ironman, distance cycling, marathons, endurance swimming and everything in between.
Heather and Nic in Brisbane proudly introduced Skin Strong to Australia and have now handed over the reins to us (Hi! Sarah here and we have an AWESOME crew to support you and your skin ready to go!).
We are a small (but mighty in chafe defence) privately owned company based in Melbourne Australia. We are seriously honoured to be able to keep bringing you all the awesomeness that is Skin Strong to Australia and New Zealand after Heather and Nic!
We believe that you can achieve amazing things when your body (and your mind) don’t get in the way.
We also believe that different situations require different armour – and yes, we are talking from experience!
We know first hand what it’s like to have chafing, rub, hot spots and the screaming in the shower afterwards get in the way.
This is why it’s our mission to keep your Skin Strong and protected no matter what the situation or adventure you are taking on. It really doesn’t matter if it’s a 5km run, Kona Ironman, 100-mile trail run or hiking in the wilderness Skin Strong can support you no matter what your adventure.
